OUR FAMILY’S RESTAURANT was FIRST OPENED IN 1970 at 1972 Weston Road BY THE ORIGINAL OWNERS, PETER AND MIKE, WHICH IS HOW WE GET THE NAME P & M. In the mid 1960’s, GEORGE KALIMARIS Sr. emigrated to the United States and slowly began his journey up to Canada. He had always had the dream of opening his own family restaurant and on april 15th, 1975, his dream became reality! After a few before him, george became the proud owner of P & M in the beautiful town of Weston.

For the next 26 years, as his family grew, George operated the restaurant. In the early years, his wife Katarina was by his side, helping to run the restaurant while raising their 5 children. Later, his two youngest, Frank and Mary, came into the business -- with frank as his apprentice and mary as a waitress. Twenty-six years to the day he began, he retired in 2001 knowing his dream was in good hands with his childen. He had a lot of fond memories through serving his customers and friends from his open kitchen and had seen good times that enabled him to travel back to Greece many times and to build St. Irene Chrysovalantou Greek orthodox church on mount epos. A truly magnificent legacy! Frank, along with his wife, Niki, were now the proud owners of P & M, expanding the menu while continuing to offer the great food and amazing service. Over the next 9 years, as the business grew through incredible word of mouth, they made the decision to expand but wanted to be able to stay in Weston. The opportunity to purchase the old Central Restaurant, another heritage business just a few doors down, made their dream a reality and they began their new journey to expand on the legacy begun in 1970. Ironically, their father george had also been a part of the central restaurant history as a line cook in 1969. The circle is now complete.

In early 2015, almost 5 years after Frank and niki began their search for a new home, renovating the old building and creating a larger space for the growing clientele, they moved to their new location. Now with their children, George, Peter, and Katerina, they are excited to begin their new chapter.
